MagSafe light flashing green and orange, macbook won't turn on

The led light on the MagSafe lead of my MBP keeps flashing and it won't turn on, there's no power to anything. Any ideas as to why this is happening?

My MBP is literally only a week old. But it's a standard pre pro retina refurbished 2013 model.

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012)

If it is only a week old and doing that, take it back to Apple and ask them to fix it for you.

If you purchased the MBP from Apple (not a reseller) you have 14 days from the purchase date to get a replacement (if available) or a refund, even on a refurbished MBP..
