rMBP Mid 2014 Screen Stain?

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for a new high-end computer and mid 2014 rMBP is in my list along with Alienware and Precision notebooks. If I choose a Mac, it is going to be my first ever mac. Every reviewers says it is good. But when I look at user forums where they speak a lot, i found this thing called "Stain-gate"!

What the heck is that and does it happen to every model? Even with mid 2014 models? 😕 After all the selling point of a Mac is its retina display!! I fell in love with the retina display and then I came to know about this.

So, should I be worried about this or not? Can I protect the screen with a screen guard? Another ways to keep it protected?
