Calendar Not Syncing

My Apple Watch is not updating with changes to my calendar. It has had a few hours to update, but still shows the old time for meetings I have scheduled today. I've restarted my watch and my iPhone 6+. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a way to force a re-sync of calendar data between my iPhone and watch?

Thanks!

Yep -- that was it (I think). Unblocking it to actually sync to my watch had the unintended consequence of then triggering another issue (read: major bug) with "invitations": for some (stupid) reason, it decided to notify me for *every* unreplied invitation going back however long! So, for all those instances of repeating weekly meetings that I have not replied to, it synced them all to my watch as notifications (seemingly ignoring my iPhone preference which I was mirroring by default, which is to ignore invitations from my work calendar on my phone). Weird. So it took *forever* to eventually start showing the data (it really caused other problems in the interim; my watch was having serious problems doing anything that needed to communicate with my iPhone during that time).. but once it finally started presenting the alerts for all the previous invitations (I mean, we're talking about a hundred at least), I realized that was the problem now (flood gates = open).

So, I went back into the Apple Watch app on my iPhone (in somewhat of a panic) and edited the Calendar settings to explicitly disable alerting on invitation -- and voila! After a minute or two of waiting for it to re-sync, it seems to finally actually work!!!!!!

Thanks.

I'm experiencing incorrect syncing with Facebook events. I have the Facebook calendar (or whatever it's called) turned off everywhere (phone, Mac, iPad), yet a few days ago I started seeing Facebook events as a complication on the watch face. If I looked at the calendar app on the watch, sometimes the Facebook event was there and sometimes it wasn't. It never appeared on the phone. Very confusing.

Restarting the phone and watch didn't fix it. Resetting the sync data (via the iPhone watch app) seems to have worked, but judging by others' experiences, I don't expect it to stick.

Running watch OS 2.0 and iOS 9.0.2 on an iPhone 5S.

I really wish I could delete the Facebook calendars entirely, but that seems to be impossible.

I've done exactly what you have done with exactly the same results. Selecting the icon My Watch on iPhone5s, then General, scrolling to bottom select Reset, then selecting last item of three "Reset Sync Data". Holding selection down generates a grey background on the selection. Releaseing the "Reset Sync Data", selections returns to its orange font and but nothing happens. Watch still not updated. Frustration!!!! Appreciate your post, now if Apple would issue an update, but that's too easy.

I went in to the Apple Store for "Genius Bar" assistance after exhausting all options that I could do on my own. They performed diagnostics but were unable to identify any issues apart from the lack of syncing. They didn't recognize this as a "known problem" even though I repeatedly said that there were multiple support threads on the topic. They have taken my watch and sent it to be diagnosed and repaired by the central service center. They were unable to revert the OS in the Apple Store. I will update once I get a response...it continues to be in "Diagnosing Product" status....

This is ridiculous. Everything on exchange worked perfectly yesterday. Today, suddenly none of my exchange appointments are syncing. I only have one exchange calendar and it is the only calendar that syncs with my Apple Watch. Why are apple products becoming increasingly buggy? Is it just me or does it seem like major features are becoming major weaknesses in apple product releases! Oh and I've reset, repaired, reenabled everything that forum members recommended to no avail.

Having the same problem with one work (MS Exchange) account and one Google Account with multiple calendars.

After reading most replies I tried deleting ALL my Other Calendars from Google (in the Calendar Settings) - This included Country Holidays, etc, and it immediately fixed the problem and the watch synced with the iPhone (showing both my Exchange calendar and any Google Calendars I own and have visible in my iPhone).

I eventually relented and reset the watch and paired it as a new device. It ***** because I lost a lot of settings and setup work that is done but solved the problem when no amount of calendar fiddling seemed to work. All I care about is that it's back on my watch and I hope it stays that way until Apple can get it fixed in the next update. :-/

Thanks for letting us know about the update. I'm downloading it now. Unfortunately I moved jobs and don't have an MDM on my phone anymore so I have no way to test the fix. However I strongly suspect this update does address the problem since the release notes specifically mentioned fixing problems syncing calendar events from a MANAGED phone to the watch.

I have also updated iOS to 9.1 but the problem has not been solved.

Maybe my problem it is different from yours.

I can insert an appointment from my iPhone 5 and after few seconds it will be sync with my Microsoft Exchange calendar.

When I use apple watch to create an appointment it appears immediately on my iPhone (with Exchange calendar color!) but this appointment remain only on my iPhone. NEVER SYNCRONIZED with my Exchange calendar.

If I can do a small change (one letter on title) on this appointment immediately will be syncronized with my Exchange calendar.

It is really frustrating!
