Q: iCloud Photos - Uploaded Data Larger Than Local Library

My local "Photos" library stored on my mac is 47 gigs and contains 3024 photos and 300 videos. This is the only device with iCloud Photos activated.

"Photo Library" in iCloud is currently using 62.5 gigs and contains 2054 photos and 300 videos.  When I look through the uploaded library on iCloud.com, I don't notice mass duplicates to make up for this extra data.

Any thoughts?  Has the upload been corrupted?  Should I delete and start over or should I wait until it completes and see if the final storage figures are more in line with my actual data size?

FYI: It has taken 2 weeks to get this much data uploaded.
