Trackpad stopped working

Bought my MP 5 months ago and it has been running good since then.

Yesterday I was watching a movie and ran out of juice and because I wasn't gonna need the computed in the weekend I didn't charge it immediately.

Today I fully charged the mac and when I trying to boot the computer it recovered a state that was not the one that I left the computer (watching a movie).

After that I noticed that the trackpad has stopped working and I can only use the computed with a physical mouse.

Any help?
