I was able to message all contacts on my phone from my computer, whether they were iPhone or not and for some reason I am no longer able to. I don't know if maybe I turned something off or if something happened with an update I did to my phone. Can someone assist me with this problem please?

The feature is called Continuity.
And it requires an iPhone using the same Apple ID for Messages as the Mac, and that Text Message Forwarding be enabled in Messages settings on the iPhone.
If all is set correctly, try signing out and back in of Messages on both the iPhone, and the Mac.

Awesome, thank you. I guess I just had to sign out and back in to get the option of message forwarding. That option did show up before. This fixed my problem.🙂
