Session time-out on secure site?

Using OS 10.7.5. Ever since the latest security patch 2015-004, I am unable to navigate through secure sites - specifically Navy Federal. I can sign in, but once I click on anything I get timed out. My cookie setting in Safari (v.6) is set to yes from third parties and advertisers. I have cleared all caches with no resolution, and also reset Safari. Has anyone else had this happen and found a resolution?
