Photos has no Geotagging, what app now?

The new Mac application Photos doesn't have geotagging capability as iPhoto did, so what is a good application to use now? I suppose it may be possible to use iPhoto in parallel somehow, haven't explored it, but it will not be supported forever, it might be painful to use in parallel, and maybe there's something better around for the purpose?

I was thinking about importing the photos from Photos into iPhoto, geotagging them, and export them. I don't use Photos or iPhotos at all except as a download utility for the SLR and i-devices, I keep them in folders and upload to flickr.com so I'm thinking this kludgy method might work. But I suspect there are better Mac applications with some useful features such as a catalog of common locations etc.
