After downloading the current flash play, certain websites and games that require a flash player to run will cause safari to flicker and the screen will goes black. I have tried to reinstall the current version and ever tried to reinstall the previous versions, but still have the same issue.
MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)
1. System Preferences > Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
Press “Delete All” button under “Browsing Data and Settings”.
2. Install Adobe Flash Player.
System Preferences > Flash Player > Updates
Press the “Check Now” button.

Download it and quit Safari from Safari menu in the menu bar.
Follow the prompts to install Adobe Flash Player.
Thank you for the suggestion. However, this did not sole my problem. After completing all the step and checking to see if this resolveled the issue, I still get a black screen when a flash play imbedded program starts up.
Update, I cleared the cache in the safaris develop section and that seems to have fixed my issue.
