Is there a way to set do not disturb for quiet during the sleeping hours while still allowing the wake up alarm app to operate.

I frequently use the alarm and my iPhone turns on Do Not Disturb every night. If the alarm is set to ring while Do Not Disturb is active the alarm still sounds and I hear it. Check other settings on your iPhone to make sure it is not muted.
It is not necessary to schedule your do not disturb to turn off before your alarm.
The alarm will still sound, whether do not disturb is on or off.
Found the answer. I have the alarm app Yocto Clock. It will sound if it is the active app even when do not disturb is set. It also has a force sound setting for use when the phone is muted.
IF you go into settings on your iPhone or iPad, then to 'Do Not Disturb'. From there you can scedual when Do Not Disturb is on and off. Simply make it go on at night and off before your alarm clock goes off.
The reason I posted this question was because do not disturb was set,but I woke up late finding my alarm going off silently. I may need to schedule the turn off before alarm
