Applecare+ Register

I have a iphone 6 and purchased the applecare+ while I haven't register it yet. Recently, my friend sent me an iPhone plus as a gift, and I want to register the Applecare+ on the Phone Plus. Can I do it ?

If you purchased it at the same time as the phone, it likely was automatically registered at that time.
