since upgrading it will not let me open the programme at all it just tells me there is an error...help?!

it says 'iTuneshelper was not installed correctly. Please re-install iTunes. Error 7.' i have tried to delete all related files from my pc and re-install but nothing is working...please help! Thank you.
OK, see the full tear down instructions as given in the second box of the user tip. Make sure to reboot before attempting to reinstall. Disable any anti-virus while installing and run the installer from an administrator account. If that error occurs again you try repairing iTunes from the Programs and Features control panel. If it still won't work tear it out again and try the "for older video cards" version.
