passbook and apple pay not appearing in My Watch

ive set up a passcode on the Apple Watch and am now trying to set up Apple Pay - the instructions direct me to the iPhone -> Apple Watch -> My Watch -> Passbook and Apple Pay.... But the later does not seem to be visible in the My Watch screen on the iPhone... I already have Apple Pay set up on the iPhone successfully..

ANyone one else experiencing this ?

Try rebooting your phone and watch, then try it again. Double click the side button in a quick one-two to make the Apple pay card appear.

That was the magic question... My phone is set to the US with my US cards... But I set up my watch to the UK (as I'm an ex-pat)... After changing the region on the watch to US, the option magically appears... Many thanks
