I don't own the number anymore that apple tries to send a Keychain verification code to. What can I do?

I've tried to activate my iCloud Keychain and tried to use the security code verification.
It keeps sending it to an old number that I don't own anymore. Although I changed my phone number

in my account settings, it doesn't seem to change for the keychain approval. There doesn't seem to be another option?
