Apple Watch app missed finding my iPhone apps that have watch components

How can I get the Apple Watch app to search again for the apps that are already installed on my iPhone that I know have an apple watch component? In particular, My Bus Times and RokuMotion. I tried deleting them and adding them back from the Apple Store, but they didn't get put into the list. I tried powering down both the watch and the iPhone. That didn't work either. I may have to try un-pairing and re-pairing.

Also, it would be better if the list of 3rd party apps had a clear indication of whether they were on or off the watch, like putting them in 2 separate lists. Looking inside each one for the toggle is a pain.
