Time Machine

Hi! I have a MacBook Pro 2011. I am installing a Solid State Drive and will need to backup and re-install with Time Machine.

Does Time Machine preserve all the folders and email settings exactly as they are in Microsoft Outlook and Apple Mail?

I have hundreds of folders and am concerned that the emails be backed up and preserved as is.
