Why is my iMac (12,1) so slow?

Problem description:iMac 12,1i7 2.8GHz16GB RAMYosemite 10.10.3Bootcamp (can boot into Windows 7)This mac is slow. We don’t know why. A similar but older iMac in the other room has an i3 and 4GB RAM and it is much faster. You use CrashPlan.You need to adjust CrashPlan&#x27;s settings so CrashPlan  is NOT trying to constantly create small backups while you are actually trying to do  work on your Mac.Have CrashPlan initiate your system backups during times of prolonged inactivity on your Mac.CrashPlan maybe another item that is slowing your Mac.Make sure you have updated ALL your installed software and ALL connected device software and drivers.Update all of your Web Browser Internet plugins and extensions.

If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. I did a complete UNINSTALL of Crashplan. I had done the regular uninstall but there were artifacts remaining. Thanks for this though.
