Is there anyway to delete or hide the Stock app that Apple forces on users? On my iPhone, I have it in a folder with all the other apps that I can't delete. However, it is on my Apple Watch and I can't do anything with it. Yes, it would be simple to ignore it, but I'd rather not have to see it at all. Any ideas?

You could try removing it from Glances.
On your iPhone go to the apple watch app. Select Stocks. Disable show in glances.
I don't know if this will get rid of the icon completely.
At least it will be gone from Glances.

To me, it's the most worthless app and I hate that Apple forces it on me. It's not even the best stock app available!
What I did with the icons that can't be deleted but I never want to see was stack them on the top of the screen. I have just enough 'good' icons that the three I don't want to see (stocks, Remote and World Clock) are out of sight unless I scroll up to them.
I read somewhere that you cannot delete any apps that came with the watch. I would also like to delete the stocks app from the watch but have stopped trying now that I know you can't! I did something similar to ncfiddler and just moved anything I didn't want to the outer edges.

Put in feedback to Apple. Maybe if enough people complain about it, they will do something about it. This has been an irritation with iPhone and iPad, but at least you can put them in an "unwanted apps" folder on a distant page where you can forget them, whereas on the Watch you are stuck with them. With its tiny screen and tiny fiddly app icons, it's quite a problem. Hopefully Apple will at least come up with a solution which gives extra screens and/or folders like the phone and iPad.
I will give Apple some feedback. On my iPhone and iPad, I have all the useless app in a folder titled iCrapple. 🙂
With the new iOS 10 you can delete apps that came with the phone or watch. I just deleted Stock from my phone and it took it off my watch.
Excellent! I never use the Stocks app anyway - so removing it from the phone is no big deal, and having that then remove it from the watch is a nice big bonus!
However, it would still be nicer if Apple provided a way to choose which vendor-supplied apps one wanted to see on the watch (either from the watch, or the watch app on the iPhone) -- or, to be able to do what has already been described by a number of other folks - create a "folder" into which such icons can be placed, and provide a "drill-down" option on the watch to open such folders. With such an option, I'd be able to reduce the clutter to less than a dozen app icons (bonus feature: With fewer apps, allow the icons to get larger)
