Gmail New iTouch 2G

When I had my old iTouch 2G, my Gmail Set up Successfully but when I set up as a New iTouch 2g (Jailbroken iPod and a different model) the gmail sync did not work. I came back from Brooklyn last week as my refurbished iPod. I did set up as a Exchange no luck and gmail servoce still no luk
