Q: why is it impossible to empty "trash"?

But my trash doesnt empty.... just continues to collect ips and other files... Apple, really?????

You can't empty the Trash or move a file to the Trash - Apple Support

Control (right) click on the Trash icon in your Dock and select Empty Trash.
