I Recently made an iTunes account, and just today put many albums I had stored on my computer onto it. Now, when I go to sync them to my iPhone 5s, it won't let me. The problem is they are in MPEG-4. in order for my phone to play them, they need to be in ACC. When I go to convert them, it says they're not found. They are stired in my music folder on my laptop, and thats how I got them in my library to begin with. Can anyone help me out here?

When your device is connected, the "Convert higher but rate songs to..." option appears on the Summary tab. See example here:
I Should also mention that I have had them on my phone before, and wiped it because I made a new itunes account so I didn't have to share with my father and brother. I know its possible.

Put the phone down for a minute and let's make sure your library is OK. Regarding, the problem songs:
When you double-click the track in your iTunes library, does it play?
When you right-click, Get Info, and look at the File tab, what do you see for "Kind" and "Size"?
They all play. For size, they show up as an ACC. For size, they this particular song is 8.4 MB. I have over 400 songs affected, and I don't want to go through all of them for this
AAlright I figured it out. I need to set "convert higher bit rate songs to 256kbps AAC instead of 128kbps ACC. it's amazing what going to sleep can do!
