Why di my Epson printer suddenly drop out and now the computer won't recognise any printers??

My Epson printer has been working fine for the last 2 months and now suddenly the computer says there is no printer and when I tried to reinstall it now recognises no printers at when before it had 2 types??

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)
