Can't access nor see Macintosh partition and files in Windows

Question

Hello,Basically I just rebooted the whole laptop and installed OS X and windows 7 (using Boot Camp Assistant).I don&#x27;t know why, I can&#x27;t see the Macintosh partition when I open My Computer. It&#x27;s like it doesn&#x27;t even exist! I&#x27;ve been searching a solution for this for hours and they&#x27;re all recommending installing software like Macdrive (which I tried and is asking me to FORMAT my mac partition, calling it Disk E).Last time I had installed windows I didn&#x27;t use ANY software whatsoever, I could simply go to my computer, select Macintosh HD, and see/copy my files (read only) with no problem!I even went into System Preferences and clicked the box of sharing files with Windows...Help please!Thank you!

Yosemite converts your internal disk to a CoreStorage volume which has now Windows drivers. You can revert back to a HFS+ volume, which would be visible, if allowed. Please post the output of diskutil cs list

Hey again, sorry for replying late.Okay, my file vault was on, i opened system preferences and turned it off. It asked for a restart.Now, I can finally see the Macintosh HD drive and can access files. Meanwhile, this is how my security tab of system preferences looks like now.Is that ok?thanks!

Let it finish decrypting. This is expected. The design of FV2 could be better, by providing a UI within the Bootcamp Control Panel, but Apple would also have to provide a CS driver. Yosemite is similar.
