So I dowloaded the most recent OS X Yosemite. After downloading it and restarting my laptop, my laptop was filled with viruses and pop-ups. It no longer recognises my USBs nor does it let me send out files or emails with attachments. I can't do anything with having a million pop-ups come up. On top of that, the display looks weird, like it's not even an Apple Display .....
How do I fix this?

There is no viruses for mac computers. Pop ups in your browser may be the symptom of adware injection.
Follow the instructions on this web page in order to manually remove adware from your mac: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203987

If you do not want to remove adware manually use adware medic tool in order to scan and remove it: http://www.adwaremedic.com/
Download, open adwaremedic dmg file , and run it by clicking “Scan for Adware” button to remove adware.
Once done, quit AdwareMedic and restart your mac.
