Iphone 5s internal device error, cannot sync

I have an internal device error on iTunes 12 related to my iPhone 5s IOS 8.3. Is this a backup/restore action to get rid of the error?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)
