Q: BUG: Exercise app time not showing in Activity app

First thing in the morning, I did an "OPEN" session of "indoor cycling" for 39 minutes, and while both time and calories burned shows in the Exercise app, in the Activity app, my calories burned are counted under "Move", but under "Exercise" did not count the time, still showing 0.

Is anyone else seeing this, or was it a fluke for me?

Many recommend using the workout app in "Other" mode. Today I tried that and it worked perfect on the treadmill . When I usedon the stationary bike, the problem was reintroduced , was to "pause". Then I remembered that I had advised to block thescreen with "force touch ", once done that began to run perfectly. In short, I can´t define well what is the source of the problem but at least i'm finding ways to make it work properly.

Before this , I calibrate the clock for 20 minutes walking outdoors as Apple recommends.

Anyway we should clarify that the app should work correctly in all modes and not only in " other " ...

Another conclusion I draw after using the app " workout " is that it works much better outdoors than indoors. The next day having worked perfect on the treadmill and stationary bike in the gym , he turned to go wrong again. When outdoor use appears to be much more precise and not be put into "pause " without any reason.

I walked 1.93 miles.  It took 38.37.  The avg pace was 19'56"/Mi (a tick under 3 miles per hour so that blows the theory that you have to walk faster than a 3 mph pace) and my Avg. Heart Rate was 124 BPM.  If I use the calculation the other person posted it should get within the 70-85% range.  I'm 48 years old.  So 220-48 = 172.  At 70%, I hit the mark because my average heart rate would need to be 120.4 (my average was 124).  At 85%, I didn't hit it because 146.2.   Mine didn't register a single minute for that walk.  It has measured 13 minutes elsewhere throughout the day but I'm not sure.  Perhaps I don't swing my arms enough...I'll try that tomorrow.
