Every time I open my contacts, I am asked to put in my password for my Email. Is my phone hacked or is this a ongoing problem?

I Have had my IPhone for about 3 months but since the latest update I am get a pop up to type in my yahoo password. Normally I close it and make call/ text. I am afraid I have been hacked or is this a normal problem for IPhone users. Can anyone help?
