Crashes while asleep

I have a new 5K iMac (its very nice) but from day one it's being crashing after its been asleep for more than about 45 mins. When I try to wake it I have to perform a hard re-boot. Occasionally, while its asleep, it will re-start itself and when I return to the machine there is a dialogue telling me that it had needed to re-start. It has also just re-started itself when I'm using it a couple of times. All the crash reports refer to Kernel panics

So far I have taken the following measures:

Safe mode - still does it

Everything unplugged - still does it

Reinstall Yosemite - still does it

Uninstalled Drop Box - still does it

Tried all the settings in Energy Saver - still does it

Before I give up and have to send it back to Apple, (I really don't want to do this) does anyone here have any suggestions, I'd really appreciate it.

It's got the 3Tb Hybrid drive and 32gb of Crucial Ram

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014), OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)
