White/Fuzzy screen

i am having trouble with my iMac. I just updated with the new OS and I was able to use it fine for about a day. Last night I come home and the screen is white. I triEd restarting first, then unplugged everything and then restarted. Now I am able to see some of the screen but there are still vertical fuzzy lines across the whole screen. I've tried uploading a picture from my phone but it won't let me.

Hhas as anyone experienced this before?
