Is there a fix for 30p AVCHD with FCP X 10.2?

Folks I have that problem with content shot in 30p and the instructions in this (Resolving Black Frames Issues with Panasonic AVCHD and Final Cut Pro X 10.2 - Apple Support) link did not help.

Problems show up as:

Thumbnails in import window are black

Filmstrip view mostly black but plays video when scrubbed

Thumbnails in browser are black

Black frames on playback

I did the recent pro apps update for the codecs and that didn't help either.

Any ideas?

Mac Pro / 10.10.3

FCP X 10.2

AF100 content shot at 30p

GH3 content shot at 30p (no problem from this footage)
