Latest version of iPhoto

I used the iPhoto Library Upgrader in my utilities folder. Now every time I go to open it says "You can't open your current photo library using this version of iphote. You have made changes to your photo library using a newer version of iPhoto. Please quit and go to the newest version." I can't seem to find the newest version. What am I doing wrong?

What version of iphoto do you have? What version are your trying to upgrade from? Is OS X 10.6.8 as you state correct for your OS?

I have iPhoto 7.1.5 and yes OS X 10.6.8 is correct for my current system. I used the upgrader tool in the utility folder that said it prepares libraries from iPhoto 7 and earlier so they can be upgraded with the current version of iPhoto.
