why can't i share photos to dropbox?? It was easy with iPhoto😢
Sharing needs to support dropbox!! I know apple wants to keep it all in house, with iCloud. To make more money with extra needed storage. But some of us use other means of transferring photos and files for work prepuces!!😠

Good luck with your question, I do not agree with your premise so can't answer it.
It was my understanding that having your photo library available in Dropbox was something that Dropbox set up to have access to the library. If Dropbox no longer has access to your photo library, it would seem that Dropbox needs to update its app and network.
You are under the false impression that it is Apple's responsibility to provide everything you want in regard to 3rd party apps and functionality. It is the millions of 3rd party developers who must make their product compatible with OS X, its core apps and functions.
With iPhotos it was a simple drag and drop. Now that is not an option. 😢 And dropbox is not supported through the share feature ether. It can still be made to work but it take 4 more steps to get the job done. The thing that bothered me was iPhotos was just replaced and soon will not be suppered at all. At least when iTunes is changed you can use the old settings you are use to. And as fare as csound1 he aced like he owns apple and I isolated him. lol

It is still easy. Simply select the photos in Photos and use the command File > Export. In the file chooser panel select a folder in your Dropbox.
This will work, if you have Dropbox enabled to show in the Finder sidebar.

IPhoto will continue to be supported for many years to come. If you like iPhoto better there is certainly no urgent need to change. Moreover, there are several good photo editing programs that you can try. LightRoom, Capture One, and Lyn are all options you can try for free.
You seem to feel "forced" into using Photos. Photos is but one of many choices you have.
