cant get to recovery mode

i used up all the attempts to access iphone 6 after forgetting passcode.

I have tried to get phone into recovery but it refuses. it just comes back to iphone i disabled screen each time.

when connecting to itunes - on a pc i have synched with in the past - i am asked to respond n my phone, but there is no prompt on my phone (just the iphone is disabled screen)
