You need more RAM, and you need to get rid of the AdWare on your computer.

Please review the options below to determine which method is best to remove the Adware installed on your computer.

The Easy, safe, effective method:

http://www.adwaremedic.com/index.php

If you are comfortable doing manual file removals, use the Apple support document below.

http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203987

Also read the articles below to be more prepared for the next time there is an issue on your computer.

This: http://smile.amazon.com/BUFFERED-PC2-5300-FB-DIMM-Arch-Memory/dp/B002ORUUAC/

667MHz are fine and are compatible, and cost less, run cold (which is ideal).

Ideal RAM would be filling all 8 DIMM slots. Two sets, $46 - would give you 8GB and enough, and if you want to then put your 2x1GB in slot A3:4

Sets go in A1:2 and B1:2 - your current setup A1:B1 is for when there is only one set.

I would just do a clean install. Buy a Samsung EVO 850 128GB $79 or less, or the 250GB for $119 - plus 2.5" to 3.5" adapter ($15 Icy Dock on Amazon for pre-2009 model).

Please review my Etrecheck report and try to find out why I am running so slow.
