APP store constantly lists update for HP 3.0 printer software. It has automatically downloaded it more than 10 times. Two questions: How do I stop this from continuing? How do I delete an update posted on the list from the APP store?

It may not have actually installed.
check About This Mac, System Report,Software,Installations.
If it is not listed then it has not installed.
If it is listed as installed and therefore listed more than once, check further in these forums
there is an answer out there especially if it is for Pro video formats.
Otherwise you will have to try installing again and monitor the progress of the update, App Store often drops the connection.

To clear the list you need to remove the updatejournal.plist
