Q: Iphone 5s Screen Glitch

A few weeks ago, my iPhone 5s, (purchased when iPhone 5s was initially released) began to start acting strangely. It started with 'phantom touches' where my apps like twitter and tumblr would scroll all the way back to the top as if the top part of the screen had been tapped, which it hadn't. Then it got more severe, with the screen getting horizontal and vertical lines across it, streaky in a way. When those lines appeared, the phone was unusable, with the only remedy being hitting the lock button and unlocking the phone. Initially doing this would solve the problem for about 3 minutes, but now the time has decreased to the point that after only a few seconds of using the phone I have to hit the lock button again and keep starting over. Very frustrating. When the lines appear, they make the entire phone unusable. Texting is impossible, as is Snapchat, Twitter, Tumblr, mail, etc. Essentially everything the phone is supposed to do doesn't work.

Phone has had some water damage, but it occurred last October and had been working well until late March. I really think this is a software issue, because I did a recovery restore and that worked for about a week, but now I am back to the same problem.

Also this has been a problem both before and after updating to iOS 8.3.
