Win 8 Installation MacBook Air (late 13) Win setup stuck - driver Prob
Dear community,
I'm trying since days to install Win 8 on a MacBook Air (late 13) with Bootcamp.
Everything is fine till the MAcBook boots to run Win 8 set routine. The installation stucks after the request for language etc. on the next window, requesting drivers, windows couldn't found on the USB Stick ("Please insert DvD or USB Stick for the missing drivers") or something like that.
I've tried to unpack "Bootcamp zip file on a 2nd USB drive, but this was successfull. Windows doesn't accept this drivers at all.
What I did first:
- Starting Bootcamp assistant on MAC OS X ML.
- Ticked all boxes on Bootcamp SW.
- Prepared a 32 GB USB 2.0 Stick (tried it also with a 64 GB USB 3.0 Stick, before) with Bootcamp and a Win 8 64 bit Iso (loaded directly from MS).
- Bootcamp loaded also the latest Apple support drivers onto the Stick (automatically ?)
- Partioned the SSD via Bootcamp
- Mac OS restarted the MacBook directly into the WIn8 setup routine and I can't go further due to the "obviously" missing drivers.
Please, can anybody help solving my pain with this issue ?
Many thanks in advance
Peter
