Anyone else notice that after app updates on the iphone some apps are greyed out on the watch? Also some apps are appearing after an update without me adding them.
Instagram, Train Timer and Carrot all greyed out and I had to take them off and add them back onto phone.
Storecard and Yahoo News appeared on the watch after having updates on the phone but I hadn't added them.

You've likely found out how to correct this issue, but after the app updates on the phone, go to your apple watch app and turn on 'show on apple watch' and it will reload. you don't need to go to the effort of removing and re-adding the app. Hope this helps someone.
I have this problem as well. Rebooting the watch removed the greyed out icons, which is absolutely horrible, since I could only remember one of the apps that was greyed. So, you have to go back into the Apple Watch app, find the app(s) that were removed from the watch and re-add them.
