Q: iPhone won't text one contact

When I try to text my husband, the text sends from my phone but he doesn't receive it. He's on android, and he has been able to get texts through to me. I've updated to the latest IOS and have texted him since then. Any ideas?

iPhone 4S, iOS 8.3

I understand that texts are not being received by a specific person. Did he recently switch from an iPhone? Make sure that his number is not attached to your Apple/iMessage ID. Try reinitiating the text conversation on your device. This can include any prior text conversation. If the issue persists, here are a couple troubleshooting articles that may help resolve this issue.

Hi there
Thanks for this, no, he's not switched phones, nothing has changed so I'm unsure what's happened. I've tried deleting the conversation and deleting him as a contact but nothing seems to work.
