When I first got my Mac mini it would receives messages that people would send to my iPhone. It was annoying so I turned it off. Now i can't figure out how to turn it back on. In Message under preference, I can only ad email. I am signed into iCloud.
It was receiving texts from iPhone and Android devices. But I did something very easy to make it stop......now I don't know what it was.

It halfway worked.......
I did what it said..... now I am getting iPhone messages but only from iPhone.
It is not receiving texts from other phones. It did originally. It still shows some non iPhone messages that I received before I disabled it, now those same people are not coming through to the computer.
Can you send SMS messages (messages to other than recipients with the Messages on their iPod touch, iPhone or iPad)?
In Yosemite and iOS 8.3 you have to enable text message forwarding from your iDevice. On your phone Go into Settings>Messages>Text Message Fowarding> select the toggle button you want for your device(s). It will then send a code to that device that you enter for verification. Then you should start receiving messages from all users.

The response came to my phone and computer.
