Change file permissions on copied files

Hi Community,

we have a Windows based fileserver (ExtremeZ-IP) with a read only directory. The read only permission is done by using the Windows ACLs. The user should copy the files they need to another ExtremeZ-IP server without write protection. If the file is moved directly from one server to another, the files inherit the permissions from the target server, so the files are writeable after the copy is done. Some users copy the files from the read only server to the local Desktop instead and the Mac keeps the permissions from the source server, the files are still read only. The user can work with a copy but they cannot delete the file anymore, only a admin user can do this an he need his password to delete the file. Is there a possibility to automatically alter the permissions on the copied files using the local umask? A mount option or anything else?

Thx in advance & Bye Tom
