While I read that the thunderbolt is output for display, just wondering if there is a chance that new PCs with display port can be used to output graphics and using the 27" iMac as a display monitor? Thanks!

I have read that but based on specifications, I was wondering if anyone has tried doing it, especially PC with thunderbolt output which should be able to connect with Imac. Just a thought and wondering if anyone has tried using Pc displayport/thunderbolt output. Thanks again!
