I deleted iphoto 8.1.2 by mistake and want to reinstall but cannot find on itunes and the disk that came with is not reinstalling I have a macos10.6.4any ideas?

I have a macbook pro os10.6.4 about 5 years old and my son deleted iphoto by mistake with his iphone...we have tried reinstalling the application install disk that came with the computer and it will not accept the disk, also looked on itunes for the app but cant find iphoto 8.1.2 any ideas?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.4), mac os 10.6.4

Snow Leopard (which you should have updated to version 10.6.8) uses iTunes version 11.4


Before installation you should back up all your data.


Run Software Update to download and install the latest updates for Snow Leopard to bring it up to 10.6.8, or download the combo update from here:


http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399


Check via Software Update whether any further updates are required, particularly to iTunes (you will need the latest version in order to synch with mobile devices).


You should now see the App Store icon in iTunes, and you now need to set up your account:
