Reprogram mouse click?

I just got the new Logitech MX Master mouse. I love it...except that they've removed some functionality from what was part of their older software. You used to be able to reprogram what the right and left click buttons did. I want to change the right click from a right (control) click to a double-click, which is what I got used to over years of using Logitech mice and programming that button. Short of having them write new software, I'm looking for a way to do this. I have a macro program (Keyboard Maestro) which allows me to program a double-click when it receives an input like a mouse click, but it can't block the command it's receiving from the mouse, so in essence, it does both and the double-click doesn't work. Is there a way, perhaps in Terminal or Applescript or ???, to remove the right-click functionality, so that Keyboard Maestro could still recognize that there's been a button click input and perform the double-click?

And if you don't know, can you suggest a place where I might search for this answer?

Thanks!
