Pages: Table runs past the page ...

I have a table that is longer than the rest of the page from where I want it to start, so for some reason it refuses to continue the table through to the next page, instead the whole table is pushed to the beginning of the next page. I've been trying to figure this out for weeks but for the life of me, I cannot understand why Pages is doing this and how to fix it ... if someone could please help me with this I'd appreciate it, thank you!
