bluetooth on iphone 5 won't turn on

I cannot turn on Bluetooth on my iPhone 5. When I attempt to turn it on, it just spins and times out.

iPhone 5, iOS 8.3

How are you trying to turn on Bluetooth? Try using he Control Center. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal the Control Center. Then tap on the Bluetooth symbol.

If it Bluetooth still will not start try resetting your phone. Then try to turn Bluetooth on again. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.

Thanks Ralph. From the control center, the Bluetooth shows On but from my settings it's not and it's keeps on spinning. I shut down the phone and restarted it and it didn't help. I attempt to to a hard reboot by pressing and holding both the home button and the sleep/wake button but this feature doesn't work for me. I'm starting to think there's something wrong with my device.
