Distorted sound from ipad 2 speakers and headphones

Hi Members,

The sound from my iPad 2 (iOS 8.3) is really distorted/muffled/not clear, both on the internal speakers and even when using headphones.

I have google and literally tried every suggestion, Don't know if anyone has a fix for the problem...

Things i have tried...

Resetting all settings,

Rebooting it with home and power buttons,

Playing around with all sound settings.

Anyone with a solution is highly appreciated.
