Missing Filters… Admin issue?

  • Motion 5.2
  • Apple MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012); 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7; 16GB Ram; NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024MB;

On my work computer I keep losing most of the filters from Motion. (e.g., Negative, Motion Blur). I am no longer an admin and I am trying to figure out if that is why. If I have our IT department uninstall and reinstall it will work until the computer is restarted. Any ideas on what else it could be or if there is a way around the admin thing. (They are not willing to make us admins)
