Tab key does not move to next field in browsers or any app.

As per subject, hitting the tab key does not jump from field to field in any web browser or application.

However, I can hit Shift+Tab and go backwards from field to field.

Obviously not much use when filling in a form.

Is there someway of restoring the default tab key behaviour to navigate forms ?

Thanks, but not the solution.

I have already tried:

Restore Default Shortcuts.

Switched between 'Text Boxes and lists only' → 'All Controls' and vice versa

Created a new admin user account and tab key functions correctly in there.

Switched back to normal account and deleted the new admin account

Deleted 'com.apple.HIToolbox.plist' from ~/Libray/Preferences

Deleted filels starting with 'com.apple.HIToolbox' from ~/Libray/Preferences/ByHost

Ran the following command in Terminal:

defaults delete -g

Downloaded an ran the 10.10.3 Combo Update from Apple

Apart from having to reset mouse speed and a few other cosmetics, the situation still remains.

Tab key does not move to next field in browsers or any app.
