The Activity App keeps calling me by my wife's name. Any idea how to correct this?

Here are the facts: We share an apple id (in my name, tied to my email address), and have since apple id's were invented. We both have iphones and ipads, and have never had an issue there. In fact everything seems to be working flawlessly with the notable exception that when the Activity App praises me for my recent activities, it refers to me by my wife's name. Somehow that makes the praise seem somewhat hollow.

My wife does not have an apple watch. My watch has not been paired with her phone. I cannot find anyplace either on the phone or the watch where it has any other name than mine.

I am feeling frustrated by this apparent bug.

"On your phone, go to Settings>General>Siri>My info and make sure that your contact info is selected"., not sure what Apple product you have but this is not a valid path as there is no "Siri" option from "General" on my iPhone 6s.

That response was written about two versions of iOS ago. So, yes of course, in the almost three years since it was written, things have changed. The path is now Settings>Siri & Search>My Information.
